TOYOTA, PONY.AI KICK OFF MASS PRODUCTION OF SELF-DRIVER ROBOTAXI IN CHINA.

Toyota and pony.ai have commenced mass production of the self- driving bZ4X robotaxi, designed for deployment in China. The companies plan to produce over 1000 such vehicles this year. The bZ4X will join pony.ai's ride-hailing service in Tier 1 Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai. By the end of 2026,  pony.ai aims to have 3000 autonomous vehicles on the road in these cities.
